Well-being and performance

Why is physical well-being important?

Most people now accept that there is a connection between what they eat and drink and their day-to-day levels of energy and performance. Nevertheless, the majority of UK businesses still fail to recognise this important link between and individual's workplace productivity and his/her state of physical health and well-being.

At O" we are increasingly required to identify physiological imbalances that are clearly barriers to peak performance, particularly in people in high pressure roles. Even those employees who believe they have a 'healthy' diet and lifestyle can experience periods in which their memory, concentration, creativity and problem-solving abilities diminish, to be replaced by energy slumps, headaches, poor digestion, anxiety, insomnia and cravings for stimulants such as sugar, caffeine, alcohol or drugs. Over time, this compromises the performance of the individual and, ultimately, the business.

We are observing that the most successful businesses are those that are keen to support employee well-being. They understand that helping their personnel to diagnose and resolve such physiological disorders early, will return them to a state of well-being that enhances their performance and productivity and minimizes absenteeism.

How O" can help you

At O" we have a healthcare consultant who specialises in identifying and resolving the biochemical imbalances that may be preventing the individual from working to his/her full potential. Our consultant will design and help the person to implement a bespoke programme that will:

  • Address the key contributing factors, including those related to nutrition and lifestyle
  • Identify specific nutrient supplements that will accelerate progress and a return to optimum performance
  • Treat causes, not just symptoms, to ensure long term energy and well-being

The confidential advice is delivered through a short programme of between two and three consultations with interim telephone and email support. This ensures minimum disruption with maximum results.

The benefits to you

Are all of your colleagues and employees well and at peak performance levels?

Does your business suffer from long-term or frequent sick leave?

Identifying the root causes of a person's physiological imbalance and designing a bespoke programme to address such issues will ensure the employee's fast return to performance and productivity. Early intervention will maintain good levels of attendance and productivity.
